Porsche Road Trip

As a last hoorah before my first ever Porsche leaves my possession for good, my son and I decided to take a little road trip. Figuring out where to go wasn’t even too tough. I mentioned road trip and we looked at each other and both said “In-N-Out!” We’re both pretty big In-N-Out fans, but […]

And The Winner IS…

Porsche Story

This is probably one of my favorite Porsche stories of all time since I drove this car while Ken owned it and had several spirited rides in it. I can agree it was one sweet ride! In the early 90’s I was looking through the auto trader and saw a 930 Slantnose for sale for […]

Porsche GT1 Jaw Dropper Video

Here’s one more video that Ruthless sent me. This was literally a jaw dropper for me. Had to watch it several times for my brain to actually process what I was seeing.

Tempting Porsches #21

Today’s Tempting Porsches are at both ends of the spectrum, both price and performance wise. Tempting Porsche #1 The first is one I found on an auction/salvage site called EZSalvage.com. Pretty interesting site. I did a search for Porsche narrowing it down to only Clean Title vehicles that Run & Drive. Of course I was […]

Campground Porsche

You never know where you’re going to see a Porsche sitting around. This one happened to be sitting at the entrance of a campground Paul stayed at over on the Oregon coast this past weekend. Guess they give Porsches preferential parking when they show up at campgrounds. A dang nice looking 911 Targa.

2011 Porsche 911 Spotted

I don’t know why, but spy shots never really do a whole lot for me. I suppose it’s a little strange, because I really like movie previews.  I’ll sit through 20 or 30 minutes of them and be happy as a clam. But put some spy shots in front of me and it’s a bit […]

Porsche GT1 Videos

Ruthless, yep the one and only, sent me a bunch of Porsche GT1 videos. Below are a couple I really liked. Thanks Ruthless! The first is kind of an intro to the GT1. Not the best footage, but some interesting stuff in there and a couple of good looks at the car. The second is […]

A Man And His Targa

There’s a tale that is told in a small northwestern town about a man and his Porsche, and the day he was forced to protect his steed. I have no idea if the story actually happened, and I’ve always suspected that the teller of the tale was actually, in fact, the owner of the Porsche. […]

Weekly Porsche Wrap

Porsche situation bleaker than originally thought – Media sources are reporting that Porsche was actually closer to $20 billion in debt, about $7 billion more than Porsche had been reporting. Focus reported that Porsche would have been insolvent in less than 2 weeks if VW hadn’t blazed on through with it’s takover deal. Guess that’s […]
