Bugatti Veyron & Ferrari F40 Track Goodness

I’ll admit, I’m on a bit of an 80’s supercar kick here. Although I’m sprinkling in a Bugatti Veyron into the mix! These cars sound absolutely AMAZING! Especially the Ferrari F40. Both are filmed by a bystander on a track day. I could sit and watch cars like this lap around all day long.

2013 Could Be This Century’s 1987!

The 80’s was probably one of my favorite decades of my life so far. I discovered Porsche, among other exotic sports cars, drove my first Porsche (when I was 15 no less: My First Time), and saw two of the most amazing cars ever conceived make their debuts. Just to name a few highlights. Porsche […]

First Ever Porsche Design Tower

Not to be outdone by Asia, a US developer in Miami, Florida has teamed up with Porsche Design to create the Porsche Design Tower Miami P’0001. Similar to the Hamilton Scotts project in Singapore (Hamilton Scotts: The Ultimate Car Lover’s Apartment), the Porsche Design Tower provides elevator service for your car up to your own […]

Italian Automaker Ermini Rises From The Dead

I had never heard of Ermini before yesterday morning. Based in Florentine, Italy, the automaker made a name for itself back in the 1960’s (and prior). For the last 50 years, though, the Italian automaker has produced a whole lotta nada. The company is looking to make a comeback with a recently announced model: the […]

Video of a Porsche RS Spyder Lapping Bathurst at Speed

Although I’m not a huge racing fan, seeing footage like that in today’s video is mesmerizing. I love the various angles and seeing the lines the drive takes through the course. How exhilarating it’s gotta be to drive one of Porsche’s best at speed. Jeroen Bleekemolen is the lucky driver of this open cockpit beauty, putting it through […]

Solo Driver Porsche 911

Every so often you come across cars that make you wonder outloud…”Why?”. Recently 9 Magazine posted about just such a car. A single seater Porsche 911 Cabriolet. Yes, SINGLE seater. No rear seats. No passenger seat. Not all that unusual you may be thinking, until you realize WHERE the single seat is placed. Smack dab […]

A Deeper Look Into Urban Outlaw Magnus Walker

I just finished watching one of the coolest Porsche videos I’ve seen in a long long time. It’s a short film/documentary type that peels back some of the layers of Magnus Walker and his collection of cars. Magnus has come onto the Porsche scene pretty hot and heavy in the last year, and for good […]

Porsche 930 Journey

I ran across this video on Vimeo recently. It’s not going to blow your socks off with action, but it’s well worth the 5 minutes to watch it. It features a 1984 Porsche 930 that Jim Goodlett fell in love with as a teenager, then set out to find nearly 30 years later. The story […]

McLaren Debuts the P1 Billed as the Ultimate Supercar

Although details are a bit on the sparse side, the McLaren P1 made it’s debut at the Paris Motor Show that recently kicked off at the end of September. The company’s aim with the P1? “To be the best driver’s car in the world on road and track.” Sounds simple enough. A couple of features […]

Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Meets Mixed Reactions

Last week, Porsche announced a new concept car, the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo. The jury is still out for a lot of die hard Porschefiles (especially Porsche 911 and Porsche 356 people) on the Porsche Panamera, so I can’t imagine they’ll be overly excited about the Sport Turismo version. I’ve been mulling over this […]
