Porsche Design P´9522 Mobile Phone

I’m a bit of a technology junkie, so any opportunity to marry a brand I love with technology, I’m hooked. The Porsche Design P’9522 mobile phone to be released early this year promises to be something worth considering if you want the best of the best (or at least the Porsche name on your phone).

Following up the rather lackluster P’9521 released in 2006, the P’9522 appears to be more inline with what we’d expect to bear the Porsche name. The candybar phone is cut from a solid block of aluminum and has some pretty nice features:

  • 2.8-inch OLED touchscreen display
  • Scratchproof mineral glass
  • 5-megapixel camera
  • Built-in GPS allowing you to geotag your photos
  • WiFi
  • Fingerprint reader for added security
  • MicroSD card slot

One disappointment is no 3G. I can’t imagine living with WiFi only these days on my phone.

The phone is dang sleek and sexy looking. You’d think with the aesthetic features, the internals would blow us away as well. The lack of 3G would be the showstopper for me.

yeah, if they’re gonna get into some side business – its a shame that they do so in name/design only rather thing bring all the (not even) high tech stuff like G3.
