Win a Porsche Outlaw 356

I read about this fundraiser last month, but completely forgot to post it on the blog. Maybe it was some subconscious move to try and increase my chances of winning one heck of a sweet Porsche Outlaw 356! James O. reminded me of it last week though, so now everyone will have a chance to get in on the action.

Rod Emory over at Emory Motorsports has decided to donate his 1953 Porsche 356 Outlaw to Limbs for Life to help them raise money for their foundation. Limbs for Life offers amputees a chance at getting back to a normal life by providing prosthetic limbs to those that are unable to afford them. This is a great cause and one that you don’t hear too much about.

Here are some specs on the car:

  • 1600 cc Engine
  • 4-speed transmission
  • 4-wheel drum brakes
  • Dark blue with gray interior
  • Current market value: $120,000

Only 2,000 raffle tickets will be sold and you better believe I bought one already!

The Emorys have built a heck of a restoration and modification shop in McMinnville, Oregon (that’s about half an hour away from where I live and I really need to get out there to see them) specializing in Porsche 356s. They’re one of the hot names in the Porsche 356 Outlaw movements. I love their work and you should see all the pictures on their site. Unbelievable! Check em out here: EmoryMotorsports.

Head over to Limbs For Life and check out the raffle here: LimbsForLife.org.

Also, here’s a video Rod put together about the giveaway and why they’re supporting this cause:
